Who Are We?

Our parish has the pleasure of bearing the name of St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers and of children. His legend is old and true, depicting a genuine example of the struggles all Christians face along their journey of faith; trials, failures, steps in the wrong direction, and at times a sense of drowning.  Christopher means "Christ-bearing' and so, we are called to be Christ-bearing also, through the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist and in our words and actions. He traveled through many lands evangelizing and spreading the good word. You can read more of his story here.

As Young Catholics, we are very much children of God, and we indeed must travel not only physically, but spiritually in our journey of faith. So with Christ as our unfailing compass, we must pursue him; the truth, so that in the end we may find ourselves at the gates of salvation not alone, but in fellowship. We, the St. Christopher Travelers are dedicated to fellowship in the Lord's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, creating a community of faith that will shape today's world, through the sacraments and direction of the Church and its Doctrine, Alongside our Diocese of San Bernardino's 4 core values of Hospitality, Faith Sharing, Reconciliation, and Collaboration, we humbly take on this journey of a Never Ending Search Within.

“There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.”
― Fulton J. Sheen

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

-Mathew 5:13

Zombie Nightmare is not suitable for expectant mothers, anyone with back or heart conditions, children under 14, photosensitive epilepsy sufferers or anyone of a nervous disposition. Guests may be required at times to crouch and/or crawl. Guests should be in a physically fit condition and maybe required to run at times.

What if I arrive late and miss my specific time-slot?

Unfortunately we cannot under any circumstances permit entry to late arrivals, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your time slot to avoid disappointment. No refunds are given for missed bookings or late arrivals.

What clothing should I wear?

We recommend you wear clothing that is comfortable and that you can move around easily in it. We also recommend that you do not wear too many layers as you may get hot due to all of the exertion during the 60 minutes. There may be running, crawling and climbing stairs during this experience. With regards to footwear we advise that you wear shoes such as trainers. High heels, open toed shoes and flip flops are not allowed.

Where can I park?

Zombie Nightmare uses all aspects of Shopping Centres including car parks. As a result of this, parking at some Shopping Centres has been suspended. Once you have completed the experience and hopefully found the cure by all means go out and celebrate saving the world but not before.

How many people are there in a group?

Groups consist of a maximum of 12 people.

Do I need a full team of 12 people to book?

No, but please be aware that your group may contain some people that you don’t know as we try to fill up each time slot.

We are sometimes able to provide discounts for groups! Please call a member of the team on 0333 772 9395.

How does it all work?

On arrival you will be greeted by one of the Zombie Nightmare events team who will give you a briefing document to read and sign. At your time slot your entire group will enter the experience. You will be accompanied by our guides during the experience who will take you deep into the Zombie Nightmare. You will have 60 minutes (approx.) to find, escape and survive!

How do you kill the zombies?

You cannot kill the zombies. They are already dead.

Do we use weapons?

Although we fully accept that shooting a zombie in the head is exhilarating and a lot of fun, we do not use any weapons in our experience. This is because Zombie Nightmare is all about realism and about creating a truly immersive experience. If the Zombie apocalypse was to actually happen in the UK guns would be extremely hard to find. Also whether it is lasers, paintball or airsoft, once you shoot the zombie the result of this draws your attention to the fact that it is not real which is the last thing that we want.

Do the Zombies touch you?

This is a non-contact event, the Zombies will not touch you and likewise you must not touch them.

Can I bring my own torch and video equipment?

No, if any torches or additional lighting is required it will be provided for you. This includes the light on your mobile phone. Using this will ruin the experience not only for you but also for the rest of the group.

Taking pictures or videos during the experience is strictly forbidden. Doing this will ruin the experience for those yet to do it. We cannot risk spoilers. At the end of the experience there will be an opportunity to have pictures taken with your group.

I have a question that isn't asked here?

If you have any questions or concerns that we have not been able to answer here please send us an email at and we will respond as soon as possible.

How much is Zombie Nightmare?

The Zombie Nightmare ticket price is £45 per person (plus £2.46 booking fee per ticket)

Are toilets available?

Toilets are not always available at our venues as they may be occupied by Zombies. Our locations are all in town centres where there are plenty of local amenities.
