Your Parish Needs You! | Corona Virus - How Can I Help?

Brothers and sisters, today is a time of great confusion and anxiety in our world, it is a time also of reflection and of thanksgiving for the blessings we often take for granted. Here at St. Christopher Parish, and in the entire Diocese of San Bernardino, we are dedicating our time and resources to better serve you in this new environment and provide to you relevant information to strengthen your faith.

Will the Parish Stay Open?

Even though the Parish is now limited in operations and not open fully to the public, we still cover the costs to continue these operations and upkeep our parish grounds. As you can probably imagine, without regular public Mass services and ministry fundraising, these costs will soon become too much for the Parish to handle as our savings will not last for long with minimal income. It is our intention to do whatever is possible to keep the Parish operational during this troubling time, with your help, and God's grace, we will win this fight and continue our mission for generations to come

What is the Parish Doing at this Time?

Currently, we are doing essential duties in regards to record keeping, financial accounting, faith formation, maintenance, and Pastoral Planning. It is our hope that we continue to build a brighter future for ministry and for the leaders of our local church. We are also working on new ways to connect with you and provide ministry opportunities as well as community wide engagement. We have already begun to offer Live Mass 4 times per weekend in both English and Spanish, and will soon be adding 4 more weekly Masses to our schedule. New technology and systems are being implemented to connect virtually to our Youth and Young Adults, and such options are being offered to any ministries interested in them.

So How Can I Help?

More than anything, we are in need of your prayers and ongoing moral support during this time, not only for our parish but for our entire community. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to serve you and build a community of faith. We ask for your voice - your ideas, ingenuity, and passion will be the driving force to explore methods of evangelization and service in our Church. Your love and sacrifice will be pillars of perseverance during this crisis and help to keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in the hearts of all God's people.

Last but not least, we need your generous support through online or mail-in donations to keep our parish afloat amidst this financial hardship. We ask only that you give what you can reasonably spare without crippling your own financial status. We need your financial support now more than ever, and we hope that you can find it in your heart to consider a one time, or recurring donation to our Parish. You can use our legacy Online Giving to create custom recurring payments or make a one time Donation through our PayPal account. Please know that any amount is greatly appreciated and that all our parishioners here at St. Christopher are in the hearts and prayers of our staff and clergy.

May God bless you and keep you all the days of your lives and may St. Michael the Archangel protect you in this battle.
