Who Are We?

Our parish has the pleasure of bearing the name of St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers and of children. His legend is old and true, depicting a genuine example of the struggles all Christians face along their journey of faith; trials, failures, steps in the wrong direction, and at times a sense of drowning. Christopher means "Christ-bearing' and so, we are called to be Christ-bearing also, through the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist and in our words and actions. He traveled through many lands evangelizing and spreading the good word. You can read more of his story here.
As Young Catholics, we are very much children of God, and we indeed must travel not only physically, but spiritually in our journey of faith. So with Christ as our unfailing compass, we must pursue him; the truth, so that in the end we may find ourselves at the gates of salvation not alone, but in fellowship. We, the St. Christopher Travelers are dedicated to fellowship in the Lord's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, creating a community of faith that will shape today's world, through the sacraments and direction of the Church and its Doctrine, Alongside our Diocese of San Bernardino's 4 core values of Hospitality, Faith Sharing, Reconciliation, and Collaboration, we humbly take on this journey of a Never Ending Search Within.
